STUDENT LIAISON COMMITTEE
A message from Glenn Master, Student Liaison Committee Chairman:
In most area colleges and universities, the spring semester has begun. I have received a lot of feedback from students interested in private sector careers. As you all know, it is unrealistic to be hired straight out of school with a degree and no experience. Therefore, I would ask that if you have any entry level positions or paid/non-paid internship opportunities, please let me know. These types of positions not only help students obtain a level of working experience while in school, but they also give the employer an opportunity to groom new talent for possible management experience in the future. On as side note, I am currently teaching an Introduction to Security Management class this semester at Tarrant County College. If there is anyone interested in sharing their experience as a guest speaker, please let me know.
