Welcome to Chapter 10, North Texas, of ASIS International, the largest organization advancing the security profession worldwide

I want to thank everyone who attended our April chapter meeting at CP&Y. I want to especially thank our host, Kyle Parks and our presenter, Chris Murphy, who gave an outstanding presentation on Physical Security Controls within a Cybersecurity Context.

As a reminder, our Chapter Certification Review program is scheduled to start on May 7, 2015. This review program is open to everyone, even current persons holding Certifications who wish to obtain Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credits. See our chapter website for details.

Well, our annual LEAN event is just a few days away (May 14, 2015). This event is being coordinated by Martin Cramer (cramer@downtowndallas.org) and Steve Castor
(steve.castor@cbre.com). Particulars regarding this event are posted on our chapter website.

As a reminder, if you are currently looking for employment opportunities, be sure to check our chapter website’s job section. Also, if you are an employer who is looking to fill positions at your company, please pass this information along with job description/qualification to Charles Baxter at Charles.baxter@yahoo.com for posting

Do to our LEAN event; there will be no chapter meeting this month. I look forward to seeing everyone at LEAN. Remember “it’s about our members.”

Kind regards,

Tony Migliaccio
2015 Chairman
